The Abbey Food & Bar

By  |

One of the most fun-packed places for drinking and entertainment in West Hollywood is the Abbey Food & Bar on North Robertson Boulevard.

Although its reputation is preceded as a gay bar, you will find the old, young and straight clubbers hanging out here and gyrating to the pumping music of the club. The Abbey Food and Bar would actually also make the best place for a bachelorette party. The drinks and cocktails here are reasonably priced, as is the dining menu.

I’d recommend that you book in advance, or face standing in line to enter the place. Most people come here to feast their eyes on two things: the eye candy provided by the dancers on stage, and also the antics of the visitors, especially as the crowd gets a bit more on the wild side later in the night.

I did drop by for dinner here once when I was a bit on the early side, and am glad to say that their menu is more extensive than what I expected. My ultimate selection is their grilled salmon, decked with mashed potatoes and steamed spinach on the side. I would definitely suggest this place for someone who is looking to try out a new experience in Weho. The Abbey’s latest event ads and recent photos can be viewed in their Facebook page albums, also seen below. [fpalbums id=134393793259389  limit=12 paging=15]
