“Boy Culture” Wraps Up Film Festival Circuit to Await Wider National Release

By  |

Palm Springs Mayor Ron Oden meets with Boy Culture director/co-writer Q. Allan Brocka, and co-stars Derek Magyar, Jonathon Trent and Darryl Stephens of Logo TV’s “Noah Arc” to celebrate the film’s participation in the 2007 Palm Springs International Film Festival sold out screening. The movie rolls out with a national release on Friday, March 23rd in Los Angeles, New York City and San Fransisco before opening wider in April.

Mayor Ron Oden has always been supportive of community events and BOY CULTURE is the latest, independent film to find strong support in Palm Springs as the film sold-out. TLA Releasing is thrilled to participate with an advance screening of the film before it opens theatrically April 13, 2007.

BOY CULTURE has garnered over 13 film festival awards from all around the world and tells a witty, romantic story about a Seattle hustler who gets more than he bargains for when he gets romantically involved with his roommates and a new client, who starts to break down his cynical exterior. The film opens in theaters only March 23, 2007 in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco; followed by an exclusive Palm Desert engagement on April 13 at the Cinemas Palme d’Or.
