Ring in the New Year at the annual Downtown Las Vegas New Year’s Eve celebration — full of glitz, glamour and non-stop action. Fifteen thousand revelers are expected to converge on the Fremont Street Experience (FSE) for the New Year’s Eve Street Bash Saturday, December 31, from 5:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Tickets to one of the country’s largest New Year’s Eve celebrations are on sale now at www.VegasExperience.com and are $40.00 per person. Fremont Street Experience guests receive admission to all concerts, a special New Year’s Eve Viva Vision light and sound show and access to all the action on the five city blocks that are true Vintage Vegas.

Music will fill the street as party goers dance away the final hours of 2005 to the sounds of Cheap Trick when they take to the 3rd Street stage at 10:00 p.m. rocking Fremont Street with hits such as “I Want you to Want Me” and “Surrender.”

Also, music lovers won’t want to miss the Gin Blossoms performance on the 1st Street stage at 10:00 p.m. One of the top bands of the ’90s with hits such as “Hey Jealousy” and “Found Out About You,” the Gin Blossoms are back to rock fans with a new album due out soon. The Spin Doctors will open for the Gin Blossoms and get the crowd rocking with their hits including:”Little Miss Can’t be Wrong” and “Two Princes.”

This year’s partygoers will have an extra reason to celebrate as they ring in the New Year with a special “Countdown to 2006” Viva Vision multi-sensory spectacle that will illuminate overhead for four city blocks on the state-of-the-art Viva Vision canopy towering 90 feet above Fremont Street.

The FSE consists of a pedestrian walkway spanning five blocks, which is flanked by ten of the original hotels and casinos in Las Vegas. Visitors can grab a drink and stroll through the vintage Vegas casinos, enjoy dinner at one of the more than sixty restaurants and bet on the New Year at any of the 10,000 slot machines.
