La Femme Film Festival Boasts an Array of Films, Events

On Saturday 10/13, the Writers Guild of America will host the panel Surmounting The Odds: Fundraising Triumphs From the Trenches, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Gallery Conference Room, 1125 N. McCadden Place, Los Angeles.

The panel, which will discuss what it takes to produce a film in this town, sharing stories and information on what a script needs to sell, is just one of the events offered during the festival.

Celebrity honorees for 2012 include Katherine Fugate, Mackenzie Phillips, Francia Raisa, Wendi McLendon-Covey. The awards ceremony takes place Sunday.
