Newly Published Michael Jackson Biography Available

By  |

X-Medien AG, a German Media Company, released the only fully authorized Michael Jackson biography “The King of Pop” in November 2003. The book was published in limited quantities in 2001 but distribution was delayed after Michael’s problems with Sony Music began. The book was never released for sale in North America.

Printings of the book were limited and distribution was delayed due to Michael’s break with Sony Music and continuing negative publicity associated with Jackson’s eccentric behavior and with child molestation allegations. Less than one thousand copies of the initial publication of the biography were imported into the United States. These copies were never released for distribution and are currently being liquidated.

The 300-page book is a tribute to Michael Jackson’s 30-Years-On-Stage-Anniversary. The book is 24x34cm, covered in black linen, includes a voice chip containing welcoming comments by Michael Jackson, and contains over 300 photographs from Michael’s private archive. The book also contains an interview with Michael and comments from a number of his famous friends.

The book is currently being sold by Management Partners and is available through a limited number of postings on the E-Bay auction site under the search term – Michael Jackson Biography.
