Sean Healy Presents Tha Alkaholiks and Dubcat

(Hollywood, CA) Sean Healy Presents one of the most successful and influential Hip Hop artists over the last decade, THA ALKAHOLIKS (consisting of E-SWIFT, J-RO and TASH) who have been a constant fixture in both the commercial and underground rap scene worldwide. Joining the celebrated Hip Hop crew will be DUBCAT, fresh off of their House of Blues (sunset Strip) sellout, another successful SHP concert event.

March 24th, 2004 at The Key Club, 9043 Sunset Boulevard, West Hollywood, California, SHP will bring together the hottest artists from the Hip Hop and Dub/Ska worlds for an exciting night of live entertainment. Show time begins at 10:00pm for ages 16 and up.

A true crossover band, Tha Alkaholiks are famed for their headline performances in the alternative and extreme sports world including numerous stints on the Warped Tour and SnoCore Tour as well as their famed tours with Snoop Dogg, De La Soul, Notorious BIG and Xzibit.

THA ALKAHOLIKS have released 4 CDs including X.O. Experience featuring BUSTA RHYMES, XZIBIT, KURUPT and THE NEPTUNES, 21 & Over featuring KING TEE and LOOT PACK; Coast II Coast featuring Q-TIP and Likwidation featuring NAS and OL’ DIRTY BASTARD. Singles like “Make Room”, “Daaam!” and “Likwit” are still radio and mix tape staples. Their New CD will be released later this year.

DUBCAT, features members of the Long Beach Dub All Stars and Hepcat. The All Stars evolved from the world famous group Sublime that opened national and international doors for West Coast Ska and Dub groups like Dubcat, Epitaph Record’s Hepcat and Long Beach Short Bus. Dubcat has added its soulful act to tours with such stellar talents as Black Uhuru and Slightly Stoopid. Dubcat’s sold out Hollywood performance at the House of Blues January 25th, 2004 at the House of Blues has proved to be the top live club venue performance of the first quarter in Hollywood. The Newest addition to Dubcat is, DJ What, of The World Famous Beat Junkies who cuts up the 1200’s like nobody else in the world has become the resident DJ for the Band.

SHP books talent and promotes for over 30 venues, both club and theatre, in California and Seattle with more venues being added in 2004. They also give local artist the opportunity to be part of A-list concerts by earning opening slots for national acts. A partial list of recent SHP concert events includes: Old Dirty Bastard, Dubcat (sell out), Psychedelic Furs, Powder, George Clinton, E-40, Coolio, Too Short, and Chingy, with Slick Rick’s first major Los Angeles performance since being relieved of his deportation worries. LA’s Music Connection Magazine named SHP Best New Promoter Runner-Up, coming second only to the Hard Rock Café.
