Philip Seymour Hoffman as author Truman Capote in “Capote.”

Philip Seymour Hoffman won an Oscar for his role as real-life author Truman Capote in the 2005 film “Capote.” Outfest pays tribute to Hoffman’s recent passing with a retrospective screening of the film, which also stars Catherine Keener, on Wednesday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m. at West Hollywood Library. Admission is $10; $6 for Outfest members.
