Whitney Mixter’s Summer Milestone

By  |

“The Real L Word” star Whitney Mixter is one of the most recognizable faces on the Los Angeles lesbian scene and a fixture around WEHO haunts. Since her milestone birthday on Aug. 8, when she reached the big 3 0hhhh(!), we’re wondering if the reality TV regular is now pondering the reality of her very public life.

“Anything I would have done differently? No,” says the uber-cool Mixter.  “I don’t like living with regrets.”

That’s not to say she hasn’t learned some valuable lessons between her three decades on Planet Earth and 15-plus minutes of fame.

“Anything that I have done that I might look at and raise an eyebrow at myself, I think I’ve learned from and grown,” said Mixter.

All the publicity doesn’t appear to have gone to Mixter’s head. She’s always friendly and gracious, even when out clubbing without the cameras. And, she has plans for putting her celebrity status to good use.

“I want to get into a lot more activist work in our community. I think right now is a really important time to get a good run up for gay marriage, and I’m going for it.”
